A few weeks ago, I went on a slightly offbeat assignment, heading down to Nashville to hang out with Lexington’s own Amber Rhodes, an aspiring country music artist, for a day. It was a fun and illuminating assignment where I learned about things such "song-plugging" agencies and other mechanics of the country music world I was previously unaware of.
