So, the Chamber Music Festival of Lexington is going to have a chamber group around Lexington giving flash mob performances the next couple weeks. If you really want to see this, you could just stand around in very public spaces waiting for a concert to break out. But there are slightly more practical ways to find out about these performances.

Festival director Richard Young says that announcements of performances will be sent out on the Festival’s Twitter and Facebook accounts, or you can sign up for text and email alerts. Or, you can sign up for all of them, and listen to the music when all those chimes and dings go off at once. Notices will be sent out 30 to 60 minutes before performances.

Performances begin this weekend.
