Amy Farrah Fowler herself — OK, some of you may say Blossom — Dr. Mayim Bialik is headed to Morehead State University to speak on the President’s Performing Arts and Speakers Program Jan. 30.

Bialik came to fame in the title role of the early 1990s sitcom Blossom and now plays one of the most unlikely roles on prime time television: the love-interest of Dr. Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) on The Big Bang Theory, consistently the top or one-of-the-top rated sitcoms on television. In between those gigs, Bialik actually earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience, Amy’s field on Big Bang, from UCLAShe has received two Emmy Award nominations for best supporting actress on a comedy series for the role.

Announcements on Facebook about her Morehead visit have not included an event time or ticket information. Those details will be announced soon.
