Laura Bell Bundy has dropped her newest video which was filmed in and is about her home state, featuring Kentucky landscapes, colors, music and beverages — adult and otherwise.
Kentucky Dirty was filmed in Georgetown and features University of Kentucky dancers and the Bluegrass duo Dailey & Vincent in a song that blends traditional and 21st century sounds. The song was featured in Jason Epperson’s University of Kentucky basketball fan film The Sixth Man, which also featured Bundy among the many crazy Cats fans.
In an email, Bundy wrote that she may have a spring tour but, “I’d love to just follow the Wildcats and do concerts for the fans after the games.”
On her website and through Soundcloud, Bundy is releasing a monthly “mixtape,” mashing up country, pop and hip hop tunes with her own new material that she is working on for a new album. But she has to work the music in the midst of a busy TV schedule with her new role opposite Charlie Sheen on FX’s Anger Management and she is continuing her role on The CW’s Hart of Dixie.
But as her latest video affirms, Bundy has not forgotten her way home.
